Hi all,

I just installed Nagios XI 2011R1.9 eval (tar.gz) and i cannot see any graphs. I can see
that /var/lib/mrtg is updating, but Service Status Detail->Performance graphs says
"No performance graphs were found for this service.". Also when i delete host i still see
all the configuration in /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg file. Directory /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata
includes only "localhost" and not hosts what i have been added.


I have also done everything what i have seen in FAQ.

How did you add your hosts/services? What wizard did you use, etc.?

When you go to: "Home->Details->Service Detail-><your_service>->Advanced tab" do you see anything under "Advanced Status Details->Performance Data:"?

Hi,

I used "Network Switch / Router" Wizard. When i go to look one of the interface is see this:
Performance Data: in=.254531Mb/s;20;50 out=.241285Mb/s;20;50 so there is data.

In the /usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log and /usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log do you see anything about timeouts or stopping due to load? Also how much time have you given it, it takes about 10 minutes before you'll start getting real graph data to graph.

Well there is no file called /usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log. It seems that NPCD gets term signal, but i dont understand why:

Hi again,

Intresting I restarted NPCD and it's start to work, it also stated to draw graphs. Now after 6 hours
it's not drawing anymore, but NPCD is still doing something.

What type of load does this system have on it?

Any other info in npcd.log?
