Service Notification issue

Hi All,

I created two Notification templates, One for Recovery and one for Problem, then I duplicated myself as a contact and assigned a template to each contact
The I only enabled recovery for test 1 and problem for test 2

It works great apart from the fact that by default Nagios will not send a recovery email to a contact that has not received a problem email
“: Service recovery notification option for contact test 2' doesn't make any sense- specify critical and/or warning options as well”

Is there anyway around this? :!:

I this is useful as someone the teams we at sending emails to, have one email address for Problem and one for recovery. Also it will allow me more customization in the emails.

If you do this using users instead of contacts, you can do this.

Create the users as normal, but make the adjustment on the users "Notification Preferences" page. Core still thinks the notification was sent, but you stop them on the preferences page.
