does XI support traffic monitor and relay ping?

does XI support monitor traffic? e.g. monitor Cisco switch traffic and see the top n source ip(with destination ip) and destination service?
does XI support monitor relay ping (not sure this word is appropriate)? e.g. XI assign switch A to ping switch B and see the responding time and then alert?

Nagios Network Analyzer does exactly this and can be integrated into Nagios XI

I'm not familiar with switches having this capability, I do know that you can do this using custom commands on one of our agents such as NRPE or NCPA.
