i have a master nagiosxi server with mod gearman installed and secondary mod gearman server what is monitoring servers what are in a specific hostgroup and reporting to the master. Is it possible to send snmp traps to the secondary server and that forwards traps to the master as it is with regular SNMP checks?

This may be possible, but you would be building it on your own. We only have documentation and software built for accepting the traps and passing to the server it resided on.

If you installed a second Nagios XI server in the remote location vs. a mod_gearman server, this would work and you could receive traps on it and pass then via outbound transfer to your first XI server.
