Hi NagiosXI Team,
Env info:
1) Linux Distribution and version? RHEL 7
2) 32 or 64bit? 64bit
3) VMware Image or Manual Install of XI? Manual install using nagios repo
We have a requirement to build multiple NagiosXI web nodes.
Ideally, all these nodes need to have same set of :
Settings
Plugins
Wizards
Host/Service Template
etc ...
So that the setup can be managed easily.
Hope you get the idea here.
Kindly advise.
Regards,
Vish.

You could create a backup of your Nagios XI instance, then spin a new server, and restore from the backup. Change your IP address, and you will have a pretty much a "clone" of your "old" XI server. Here's our documentation on backing up and restoring Nagios XI:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
Keep in mind that you will need a separate license for the new server if it is going to be used in production. Each Nagios XI license is approved for up to three installations: one primary monitoring/production, one backup/failover, and one test environment. As long as you are only using one install for production monitoring, you are within the boundaries of our licensing policy.
If you have any licensing questions, contact our sales team at
[email protected]. They will be able to help you out.
Thank you!

Thanks lmiltchev.
Will the same approach work for Fusion also ?
Is Nagios Fusion License also approved for up to three installations: one primary monitoring/production, one backup/failover, and one test environment ?

Vish.

Yes, here's the Fusion specific backup/restore document:

Yes, it is the same for Nagios Fusion - 3 IPs, but only 1 for monitoring/production.
