Installing Nagios in a RHEL Cluster

Any advice on installing Nagios XI in a clustered environment.
The plan was that if the node that was running Nagios was to fail, we should be able to relocate the Nagios service (& MySQL, etc) to the other node and continue monitoring.
This also means that Nagios & MySQL, etc. will be installed on a SAN Disk to allow the relocation.

Thanks & Regards... Fred Kroeger

Much of Nagios XI is tied to cron scripts. There are likely other system level integrations that may not be so easily enabled/disabled using start/stop scripts.

Let us know your experience. Remember NagiosXI is intended to be used in a disposable environment.

Configuring kvm as a cluster service should be a good solution.
