NagiosFusion and NagiosXI Integration

I have setup a nagios fusion server and can reach the tactical view , but when I click on a given node in the tactical view it opens a new browser and requires me to provide login credentials.
Shouldnt it have all that already just toget the tactical view? I would expect clicking a given view would log me into that server and pull up the alerts within the same browser.
Am I expecting too much, or do I have something setup incorrectly?

Are you logging into child XI servers, or Core servers. If you're using XI servers with the "SESSION" authentication method, then you shouldn't have to reauthenticate. However, the basic authentication method (which is the only method available with Core) would still require you to authenticate again.

Could it be because we havent purchased the license yet? Would that keep our XI servers working as Core setups instead?

That part shouldn't affect the login. It's most likely a SESSION vs BASIC authentication issue. Do you have automatic login enabled on the XI servers?

Okay -- the automatic login piece seems to have been the issue. We tested with the original admin user and then created a standard user account. How can I confirm the nagiosadmin no long has automatic logins? Every visit the system config page for automatic logins makes it look like noone has been enabled.

Okay -- that works to pass through the logins -- but have found these 2 "issues"
1) if your browser had another nagios account logged in, when you switch to the fusion interface and click the link -- your logged in as your previous session
2) if you log out that session before you switch to the fusion interface and click the link -- it goes back to asking for the login until you log into that XI again
is there a list of known browser differences ? Has anyone else seen this issue -- it would seem pointless to have to run your own login for administrative tasks in a different browser. Fusion should always force the browser to login as the User you designate to monitor alerts.

Session credentials are stored in the browser. Which browser are you primarily using? Are you seeing differences from one browser to the next?
Fusion *should* be forcing the login of the account specified in your Admin->Server Credentials page. Just to verify, are you seeing different behavior?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, just trying to isolate the issue as much as possible.
