This depends on your settings in Admin -> Performance Settings -> Databases -> NDOUtils Database section
The most relevant sections are
Max Log Entries Age:
Max Notifications Age:
Max State History Age:
Performance data is 4 years, and the nagios text based logs which are used for Availability report are kept forever.

Thanks for the information. Since some logs are kept forever, it would probably be a good idea to monitor that file system. What is the directory path?

Specifically
/usr/local/nagios/var/archives/
