Hello Team,

I am frequently getting CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 60 seconds
if I am wrong please correct me
As per my understanding
1)That particular time nagios server not able communicate(script or plugin not response within timeout) with remote server
2)sometimes port is not opened or anywhere it's blocked

Could you please clarify the same ?

Both of these sound correct. Additionally it could happen if your plugin on the NRPE server takes a very long time to run (most happen in milliseconds).

Are you seeing this frequently on the same server or the same service check?

If it is infrequent it could have just been a network error.

What is the current load on the Nagios XI server?

Have you ruled out all possible network problems with the Nagios server and it's connections to the various servers?
