Hi,
we're using nagios xi 1.7 and some time ago (couple of months) I have downloaded and installed component called 'Metrics'. It's very cool and good looking on dashboards.
I downloaded VM with 2.1 and I cannot find that component installed by default, I cannot find it also on NagiosXi components download page. I tried to export it from 1.7 version and import it to 2.1 but it seems not working,
Is this component depreciated? - if yes it would by very pity

Are you sure this was a component? What did it display?

On the old system can you go to Admin -> Manage Components and click on the disk icon and download it?
If you can, you can attach it here and I'll have a look to get it working on the current version.
Also, do you remember where you downloaded it?

Hi Scott,
I managed to solve the problem on 2.1, it was a permission issue - missing execute right for group.
here is a component:
component-metrics.zip
Here are some screens - Metrics is now available on main menu:

second tab is Gauges:

I don't remember where I downloaded it - probably it was
http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Addons/Components
I think it would be really nice if this component will come back to Nagios Xi.

I dug around a bit and it of course is ours, developed by Nagios. I have no idea why it isn't in the Exchange, I'm going to have to ask around a little bit to verify there wasn't a reason it was removed and I'll work on getting it back in there.
