Can you explain what is the use of maps section in nagiosxi ?

The various visualizations and tools in the Maps section provide quick insight into the status of your monitored objects, often from a topology perspective.
The Hypermap and Network Status map enable you to visualize hosts status and topology, the BBmap and Minemap provide quick visibility of both host and service data, and NagVis enables you to create your own custom maps and diagrams with dynamic icons which change color based on status.
