Gearmand 0.33

Hello,
From a recent nagiosxi install on Centos7, we saw that the gearmand component is quite old...
This is a 6 years old gearmand version :
https://launchpad.net/gearmand/1.0/0.33
"Recent" realeases (1.1.18 / Dec 2017) :
https://github.com/gearman/gearmand/releases
Did we do something wrong ? Is there a plan for an update ?
We actually observe this sort of problem in our production env :
