Hi,

I have question about giving permissions to users.
I know that most information is in this article: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Rights.pdf, but I would like to know if there is any possibility to grant access to one user to only one host or only one hostgrup?

In older version of Nagios Core I remember that there was possibility to add permissions to only one host grup at configuration files. Is it possible to do something similar in newest Nagios XI?

Contacts and contactgroups can be added to hosts and services only, not to hostgroups. This is valid for Nagios Core and Nagios XI. You can add your contact to one hosts only or to multiple hosts, that are members of a hostgroup. Keep in mind that if you added a contact to a host, he/she would be able to also see the services under this host.
