Bandwidth monitors graphs are not working on. When pulled up they are blank

Hi, @dfmco. Could you send in your system profile so that I can take a look at the log files?

To send us your system profile. Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and upload it to a cloud storage of your choice. Then share a link with me in a personal message.

After you send a profile please post something in this thread to bring it back up in the support queue.

I checked permissions and they were ok. I have included the output of mrtg command

@dfmco, The ramdisk is 500MB full and top 10 files weigh no more then 20-30kb. You must have lots of spooled perfdata files in the /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/ folder. I believe this is happening because you forgot to change one line in the npcd.cfg file, and nagios is still looking at the old spool folder ---> /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata/, and its not processing the right perfdata.

Open the following file:

/usr/local/nagios/etc/pnp/npcd.cfg

And change this line:

perfdata_spool_dir = /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata/

To:

perfdata_spool_dir = /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/

Now, I highly suggest deleting all the spooled files from the ramdisk. Delete all files from this folder:

/var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/

Then restart the npcd:

service npcd restart

Wait for 15 minutes for the graphs to show up.

i updated the cnfg file and then ran rm -rf /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/ to clean up the directory. The NPCD service will not restart. I am shoing alot of files

If so you need to recreate it:

mkdir /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/
chmod -R +x /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/
chown -R nagios:nagios /var/nagiosramdisk/spool/perfdata/

Then restart npcd and show me the output of the command.

I have recreated the dir but am not receiving any output. The service still will not start
