Nagios Core is unable to reach windows pc if I have the windows firewall on even though I have rules to allow the NSclient full access in and out of the firewall.

Only way Nagios will see windows pcs is if I turn off the windows firewall entirely. Does anybody got a clue how I can fix this?

You may need to verify the firewall setting depending on the network type you are connected to.

Windows uses 3 different types by default, Public, Work and Home. Make sure it is allowed on all three for port 12489 and 5666
