OK state for nls alert

Post by technosol »

Hi

In Nagios Log Server, we are able to generate only WARNING and CRITICAL Alerts and we are able to send these traps to external SNMP receiver. My question is; once the Alarm has been cleared and when it comes to OK state, can't we generate an Alert to SNMP receiver? (SNMP receiver doesn't know whether the alarm has been cleared or not) Then SNMP receiver knows the issue has been cleared.

Thank you.

Alerts have an option for "Only alert when Warning or Critical threshold is met". If this option is unchecked then traps will also be sent when things are OK.
