Looking for officially supported methods for MySQL/MariaDB replication monitoring.

The official plugins(http://nagios-plugins.org/doc/man/index.html) don't include a mysql/mariadb check, but there are a number of checks available on the exchange(https://exchange.nagios.org/index.php?o ... &Itemid=74&). Some of these you may be able to run directly against the remote machines from the XI machine, others you may need to use the official check_by_ssh(https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ng_SSH.pdf), NRPE, (https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... rpe-8.html, https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... t-528.html), or NCPA(https://www.nagios.org/ncpa/, https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... a-722.html) plugins/agents.
