I need to be able to quickly evaluate issues related to xi updates in order to more accurately determine risk. There's got to be a better way to review these upgrade issues then to have to scour the forums. Am I missing something?

Hi
@warapp,
With every purchase we offer 3 separate activation of XI licenses. One for production, one for testing, and one for high availability. We always recommend upgrading on a test server first before making changes to the production server. Nagios XI is versatile product and no two installations have the same configuration and that makes it difficult for us to test every possible use case before release.
We have 3 types of releases: bug/maintenance release, minor and major versions. If a breaking change is necessary for an update/enhancement, we try to keep those to major versions only. If there are any issues found in a release, we move as quickly as possible to get those resolved.
If your concerned about upgrading and haven't setup a test server, instead of scouring the forums, just open a ticket or post and share your system profile, then we can provide a recommended upgrade path depending on your installation. For example, are you running a distributed system or has it been a long time since your last update.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
