CRITICAL - Plugin timed out while executing system call

Dear all,
I know this case is very old but I'm facing with it and can not solve, any one help me?
I'm using Nagios Core V4.4.2
"CRITICAL - Plugin timed out while executing system call"

Are you referencing an old case that you can link to? This appears to be your first post.
What plugin are you running?
Most plugins allow you to increase the timeout with the the "-t" option. Have you tested this? Are you getting the same message if you run the check via the command line?
