yes I have just updated - functionaliy seems there but the vmware wizard doesnt get past the fiurst screen.. after entering the host name etc. on first screen i click next and get a blank screen on the centre (still have left and top frames)

followed the install to the letter and all seemed fine

It all seemed fine or everything but vmware wizard's second screen worked? Could you clarify the current state?

This is just the VMWare wizard? There are currently two, for the one I use the first screen has a selection to monitor the host or guests. We didn't develop the other wizard, though we don't discourage it's use.

i am trying to use yours..

I get to first screen and choose host - point it at my host put in credentials and click next - the center screen then just goes clear

Hmm, when host is selected the wizard behaves like any other. Nothing is done except the usual push this config(host and services) to Nagios Core. Well it does write out the password to a file, perhaps the perms are wrong on the components folder?

Check your apache logs, /var/log/httpd/error_log check to see that apache can write to /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components and that there is a folder called vmware with a file in it.

What is your address and hostname you are using, perhaps this is a shell escape issue?

Hi,

I have the same issue.

Logs show

[Wed Jun 09 09:10:31 2010] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function vmware_pushcheckboxandargs() in /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/configwizards/vmware/vmware.inc.php on line 542, referer: http://nagiosxi/nagiosxi/config/monitoringwizard.php

Thanks
Chris

I've upgraded 2 systems in the past 2 days.

I did have a timezone issue http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... 2121#p2121 however apart from that all looks good.

Am going to take a look at the VMware stuff soon, just haven't had the time recently.
