How can I get a graph popup on mouse hover?

Hello all,

I have a trial version of Nagios XI installed. I previously had Nagios Core with PNP4Nagios installed and was able to get an icon on a host or service screen that when hovered over would produce a graph like this

In my quest to enable this functionality, I read that recent versions of Nagios XI no longer use PNP4Nagios but instead employ custom written code for graphing. I have read every forum on the interwebz and am still at a loss. Am I missng something simple?

I have read the Nagios XI FAQ, searched this forum and the paid support forum exhaustively and spent a good bit of time trying to follow the directions on the PNP4Nagios javascript popup instructions and all to no avail.

Could someone be so kind as to point my thick head in the right direction?

TIA

This feature is not available in Nagios XI at this time. You can post a feature request on our bug tracker:

http://tracker.nagios.com

We will consider implementing this feature in one of our future releases, if there is enough interest shown among Nagios XI users.

Wow. Ok, well thanks for the reply, at least now I can stop wasting my time trying to figure out how to do it.

I am surprised you would replace pnp4nagios with your own code and not include such a popular feature. I assume it was some sort of licensing issue or something.

Thanks again for the response.
