Switch has 100% packet loss but Nagios never sent an email.

A power supply for a switch died over the weekend, and Nagios shows 100% packet loss as I would expect it to, but it never sent a warning email.
Other switches also lost power but they did send warnings. Can I have some help figuring out either what I configured wrong, or what I need to change so that 100% packet loss sends an email?
