Hello,
We are trying to explore the usage of NCPA in our environment. We currently use NRPE (Linux) and nc_net (Windows). We are starting with testing Windows but seem to be missing one important piece.
How can we get NCPA to work with our pre-existing service checks and commands? We were hoping that NCPA would be a drop in replacement of nc_net for us. We currently use static files for all of our monitoring needs and haven't adopted using any type of Core Config Manager things.
Is the lack of use of CCM in our environment an issue with compatibility for NCPA?
Thanks

Re: Migrating from nc_net to NCPA
Hello @jenglish,
Also, I would recommend installing NCPA and run the configuration wizard to setup initial monitoring.

That will not change anything with NCPA. Configuration files the static directory are processed by the monitoring engine (Nagios Core), but are not imported into the Nagios XI web configuration GUI for management within the CCM.Is the lack of use of CCM in our environment an issue with compatibility for NCPA?
I'm not very familiar with nc_net, but it would be helpful to know which checks you have setup for Windows monitoring. How can we get NCPA to work with our pre-existing service checks and commands?
