I am stuck on the install for RHEL

I am at the point :
cd /tmp/nagioscore-nagios-4.4.3/
./configure
make all

When I run the command ./configure
I receive the following
bash: ./configure: Permission denied

What is the work around for that?

Are you running this as root?

can you show

Also does the /tmp partition have the noexec flag on it?

I didn't see it on that output, how would I do it then?

this means you cannot execute the code while in the /tmp directory

You can more it to your home directory and try to compile there
