Hi,

i had a fresh install of Nagios 5.5.9 on clean Linux 7.3 VM. i created monitoring and tried to send alerts to contact, alerts are shown as sent in REPORTS>Notifications but not getting delivered to contact whereas test email gets delivered.

There are a couple places to enable notifications that are not immediately obvious. Take a look over https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf and let me know if you still run into the problem.
