PNP 4 Nagios. Any one use it?

I just stumbled across PNP4 Nagios (http://www.pnp4nagios.org) and am wondering if anyone uses it, and if so what has your experience been.
A custom version of PNP4 Nagios is already integrated into Nagios XI, so essentially everyone using XI is already using it.
It is NOT recommended to try to install a different version of PNP4 Nagios on an XI installation.
