Hi,
I have a server only for Nagios, which is being used for a couple of years. I want to know how to clean it up, i.e removing old files, etc. Can this be done without stopping the Nagios monitoring?
Thanks,
Siddarth Hegde

I'm not really clear on what types of old files you are proposing you remove, could you elaborate?

I'm talking about datas like logs, etc more than a year old which might have been accumulated. Is there a way to find a them and remove them safely?

The only old log files which contain historical data would be in the nagios/var/archives folder usually found at /usr/local/nagios/var/archives on a source install
