Not sending recovery notifications

When a server goes down (monthly maintenance, windows updates, etc), we get the critical notification - that the host is unreachable. This seems to be mostly with certain services (memory, CPU, ping, uptime). However, when the server comes back online, we do not get the recovery email.

I know the email notifications, SMTP server configuration, and groups are correct, because we do get other warnings and recoveries, disk space is a frequent one if a disk is going above and below the defined threshold, for example. The disk space and memory/CPU/ping/uptime services appear to be configured the same, as far as notifications, and the hosts appear to be similar as well (most were cloned from a known good one).

I am also seeing the issue about host groups that another user had - looking at the host group, I only see 5 hosts in my 'generic server' group, and all the rest are "relationship defined elsewhere". However, clicking on individual hosts shows they are part of 'generic server.' I'm not sure that's related, but odd just the same.

What version of XI are you running?

There were some issues with early 5.5.x versions that could cause this situation

I would strongly suggest upgrading to 5.5.11 where these issues have been resolved.
