Hi,

we are using the mobile text (sms) alert notification for 3 instances in EMEA/APAC.
It happens that we get a lot of messages from multiple instances and it makes it difficult to get a quick summary on the mobile phone with this long confidental information.
I checked the sms alert notificaton configuration, i know how to change form of the notification but where can i delete this text that is added at the end of every message:

The content of this email and of any files transmitted may contain confidential, proprietary or legally privileged information and is intended solely for the use of the person/s or entity/ies to whom it is addressed. If you have received this email in error you have no permission whatsoever to use, copy, disclose or forward all or any of its contents. Please immediately notify the sender and thereafter delete this email and any attachments

Best regards

Hi @scharft,

It sounds like you have already checked the Nagios XI notification messages ( go to Admin > Mobile Text Messages). If yes, it's likely added from the Mobile Carrier.

Is this message included in your email alerts as well?

reading the Understanding Notification Variables was the first thing i did, before i contacted you ;-)
i have added a screenshot from the configuration.

Not shown in any email , the confidental text will only be displayed when receivening a sms.

Hi @scharft,

Nagios XI simply forwards the email to your mobile phone carrier, so if it's not in the email alerts, this extra text is not being generated by Nagios XI. You can test this by sending an email to sms message to your phone (e.g [email protected])

I took a look at your system profile (from March) and I don't see anything in the resource.cfg or notification handlers that would be adding this extra text.

I would consult the mobile carrier or the admin as a next step to troubleshoot this.
