NagiosXI Remote Access (off network)

I'm looking into the ability to open NagiosXI while I'm not on our network. Ex: something goes down over the weekend, I get the notification via email, click the action link on my mobile device...can't access because I'm not on our network. Found this article about Nagios on the Go
https://www.nagios.com/blog/2018/03/nagios-on-the-go/

Mentions
"note: it will be necessary to enable remote HTTP access to your Nagios server to access Nagios Mobile off-network" but there's no further information on doing this. I searched here, google, etc...no joy.

I'd like to learn more, if someone can point me toward documentation I'd appreciate it!

What you would have to do is to setup port forwarding on the device that connects your corporate network to the Internet to allow inbound traffic to be forwarded to the Nagios XI server.
Port forwarding is a technique that is used to allow external devices access to computers services on private networks.
Search the internet for port forwarding and you will find links that describe what Port forwarding is and what it does.
For instructions on how to setup port forwarding on the device that connects your corporate network to the internet, you would have to contact the manufacturer.

Ah, of course, makes sense. Thanks - don't know why I didn't think of that :)
