We are trying to create an environment where we add people to a security group which then automatically gives them Nagios access. Importing initially isn't an issue however we would need it to run on a constant basis to allow for adding and deleting. Is there a way to run the import job on a scheduled basis?

Hello, @infofedsec. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work. For each new user, you are required to enter a username and email and also edit preferences and security settings. All this information doesn't get imported from the LDAP but it's needed to create a user in XI.

It is possible to use API commands to create new users with LDAP authentication in XI. So you could possibly automate that instead of importing users manually.
