If a URL reports down, can Nagios be configured to restart the application Pool on the remote server?

Hello
@be3nningtonr,
If a URL reports down, can Nagios be configured to restart the application Pool on the remote server?
Yes, this done by using Event Handlers with Nagios or taking pre-defined actions with host or service changes state. For example, re-starting a server or application.
What agent are you using to monitor IIS? For exmample, if you are using NCPA, here are a few articles on how to use scripts with NCPA.
