Not receving SMS verification code

Hi, I am trying to setup the mobile text alert but I am having trouble to receive the verification code.
Any suggestions,

What settings do you have set under Admin -> Email Settings ?

We are using SMTP. I do receive all other notification emails from the system. I also added the mobile carrier under the Mobil Carrier Settings. I did send a test email to my mobile phone (not from Nagios) and I receive the text message on my phone. I use exact same email address format under the Mobile Carrier settings. But when I try to send the verification code, it never worked. Did I miss anything?

That sounds right. Did you just enter digits in the field for your mobile number? Not sure what the format is for your carrier.

You may want to turn on debugging on the Email Settings Page, then you can look in /usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/phpmailer.log after sending the verification to see if the email matches what you sent your test as.

Also, it is possible your carrier has more rigid specifications, make sure you have a valid From address, and from the mail settings page:
Note: Mail messages may fail to be delivered if your XI server does not have a valid DNS name.
