Hello,
How do we turn off FlappingStart warning for a single host? (I've tried turning 'Flap detection enabled' to skip with no success)

You can disable flapping notifications by setting 'Flap detection enabled' to Off for that host. The Skip setting will have the host inherit the setting from the host template. Configure -> CCM -> Hosts -> Select your host -> Check Settings.

I did turn it off after your suggestion at 9am this morning but I just got another couple of the flappingstart alerts. Please check the screen attachment and tell me if this is correct. If not, please how do I proceed?
Message I received...

That does look correct. Could you PM me your system profile? Also, what is the name of the host in question?

Can you tell me how to do a PM (what do I click on in the interface)? and can you tell me how to do that config? Is that under Admin->System Profile?

Another team member just reminded me about the running configuration. We should check that before we go through the process of getting a system profile.
If you go to Home -> Host Status -> Click the host that is notifying -> Click the Advanced tab (looks like a + ). In that Advanced tab, there are Host Attributes that will override the configuration settings. If Flap Detection is enabled here, you will get notifications. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Flap Detection is enabled here.
If this is enabled on your host, you can just click the green check mark, and it will be disabled.
