Hi,
We have two Nagios XI instances running on two virtual machines with a CentOS release 6.10 (Final).
Since both Nagios XI are to be on an Active/Active solution we are trying to find a way to "synch" the two.
Ideally, our "main" server is one server, let's call it NagiosXI1 were we do the relevant changes. Then say every x hours the changes are synched to NagiosXI2. This will have a benefit of automatically updating the second server with any new monitors or changes we do on NagiosXI1.
Now, I was thinking of maybe using some cfg files to synch? is that possible? if so what cfg files should we copy?
Are there any more methods we can try?
Rgds,
Nagios XI - Active / Active
Re: Nagios XI - Active / Active
I'd recommend using the backup/restore procedure to migrate configurations - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
