Nagios XI, on Cent os 6, 64 bits.

hi,

first, sorry for my English is not very good

I tell you what happens to me, to see if anyone can tell me if it is normal.

I'm trying to do the following:

1. - I register a host (tester1)
2. - I register a group of hosts (group-tester)
3. - Host high above I do host group member

after that, I apply the changes, and everything OK.

If I consult in the host group, I can see the host Member (tester1)

But if I see the host(tester1), and look to host group member, I do not see that within the group of hosts that became a member.

Is this normal, or is a failure of the web front?

thanks.

This is normal. You can only see the relationship the way you set it up, however it will work the same either way.

thanks for reply, scott

yes, but if there are multiple administrators nagios xi, and some make the relations of the host way to hostgroups and unlike other relationships are host to host groups does not generate duplication? we duplicate relations, right?

I think it would be more logical that once made a relationship that is maintained both in hosts and in hostgroups to one side or the other ..

It will work either way as long as they are in the hostgroup one way or the other, there is nothing to worry about if they are assigned to the same hostgroup twice.

Also, in the New CCM that is coming, it will be easier to see relationships.
