Automatic Login permissions

We have an Automatic Login account set for anyone to be a viewer of Nagios XI. However, as an auto-login user they are still able to edit the home page dashboard, account information, etc. Is there a way to lock the ability for an auto-login user to change the account information and home page dashboard settings?

Hi Megan,

As it's an automatic login of a current user account, there's still some basic user functionality. I would recommended setting the Security permissions on the user account to Read-only access.

As a workaround, it's certainly possible to use the Custom Includes component to remove some of the links to those settings from the user interface when this user is logged in.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Neat! Thanks for the suggestion. We will try that and see what we can come up with.
