NLS can't see any users when trying to add from AD

Team,
I have tried everything I could possibly do to have users listed while trying to add them from AD.
I have the primary instance setup as "LDAP" and it authenticates with the credentials I provide, but it will not show any users.
I've tried the various fixes in the KB but I still see nothing.
Is there something I'm missing? Thought this would be relatively simple but I've wasted so much time on this.
Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
