Feature request update

I had put in a Core feature request to have a stalking option to send notifications whenever a change was detected. It was misunderstood and implemented wrong. Can't remember which coder was working on it, but they stated they would reopen a new feature request to get done what I had asked, any update on this? I of course then need my next part I had requested to be done:
