Not receiving the email notification

Hi Team,

We are not able to receive the email notification for ftp transfer service. The service is not showing in notification entry when we got alert as warning and critical.

Please help us what we have done wrong.

Hello @udaykumar,

I don't know the exact name of the service in question but I did find this entry in the logs where the FTP service went HARD CRITICAl.
Oct 30 19:02:35 ip-10-215-22-12 nagios: SERVICE ALERT: ftp2.tradergroup.co.nz;FTP Transfer;CRITICAL;HARD;3;CRITICAL: FTP check failed when trying to list the contents of a directory.
However, this host went down earlier and sent a notification.
Oct 30 18:50:58 ip-10-215-22-12 nagios: HOST NOTIFICATION: balarajutest;ftp2.tradergroup.co.nz;DOWN;notify-host-by-email;CRITICAL - ftp2.tradergroup.co.nz: rta nan, lost 100%
If the host is in a HARD non-ok state, notifications for services will not be set by Nagios, so this would be expected behavior for this service.
