Does anyone know if there was any updates to the request in the ticket for partial matching in the API?

There was mention of a feature request ticket but that was like 3 years ago, has there been any updates to this?
Also how do we know the status of the ticket # or is that internal to Nagios support?

It was reviewed and denied by our development team and will not be added going forward.

Thanks for asking. I looked up this feature request and this request has been canceled. While I don't know the exact reasoning,the development manager most likely decided to not move forward as it didn't benefit a large enough group of users.
