File changes alert

I need to track if any changes on directories and if have modified files such as config files under /etc ... so how could I monitor specific file changes and receive alerts of those changes update/Delete/renamed/created ... thanks

Is this for a Windows server, or a Linux server?

Perfect! You can use the Folder Watch wizard to specify a directory to watch, and then use regular expressions to look for specific files, and choose to watch the file count, age, or size. Try it out and let me know if it will work for your needs.
