Nagios Support Forum

Dear all,
it's becoming a nightmare !!!

I installed and configured nagios with nagiosql without problems, I tried to send email from command line and works fine, I tried to send a Send custom service notification and works fine, but when a down occurs, I can see in nagios.log the ALERT but no mail is generated, also in maillog I cannot see nothing.

Can you post your configurations for both the host and the contact assigned so we can look to see why a notification might not have gone out.
