Hello,
i have a question about the graph explorer. Currently, on the y-axis, i see values printed in the extended format while i'd like them to be written (for instance) in a scientific format.. just to be more readable... in the attached screenshot for instance i have data related to a traffic interface..unit of measurement is bps but i see printed very highvalues... instead of 25000000bpf i'd like to see 25mbps or 25*10^6bps it's the same.
Is it possible?
Regards
Franz

I believe those numbers are provided by the perfdata from the check itself. So if you wanted to change this to display in megabits per second, the plugin would have to support at least giving the output in megabits per second.
What does your service check for this example look like right now?

Yes,
the plugin returns the perfdata values in bps.
But i was wondering if the Graph Explorer could automatically convert this values in mbps or gbps, because when you have a very high value it's inconvenient to dispaly it in bps.
I seem to understand that it's nota Gpagh Explorewr's feature, isnt'it?

Currently, there is no such feature in the Graph Explorer (to automatically convert bps values to mbps or gbps). I can submit a feature request on your behalf if you'd like? Please keep in mind that the decision to implement the enhancement is at the discretion of our development team.

Yes, really appreciated!
I think it could be useful, when you have a value of billion of bps it's difficult to read the correct value, specially if you are troubleshooting some issue and you are in a hurry.
Thanks

I filed an internal feature request for adding this functionality to Graph Explorer. It's in the approval queue. I will be closing this topic now. If you have any further questions/issues, please start a new thread.
