We have a license for a single Nagios XI server. We are considering our options for resilience and are looking at implementing something along the lines of https://www.linbit.com/downloads/tech-g ... _RHEL7.pdf .

The question we have is would this need an another license ?

No, you won't need a second license. With every purchase we offer 3 separate activation of XI licenses. One for production, one for testing, and one for high availability.
