Customize status map mouse clicks?

Hello,
We're running Nagios Core 4.3.4 on CentOS 6.
Is there a way to customize the mouse click options on the status map so that a left click (or shift+click, etc.) will open the host status page instead of show/hide children and/or re-organize the map? Basically we'd looking for a way to make the mouse clicks more similar to clicking (twice) on a host on the legacy status map.
With a network of over 400 hosts, the map show/hide and reorganization default mouse functions just make our network map confusingly unreadable, so the default status map mouse click functions aren't useful to us.
