Hi,

I wanted to know where does Nagios store the logs of the mail it sends. I wanted to send the mail to a DL which is being sent by nagios but not received by the user .

The nagios.log file should record when it notifies a contact, commonly /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log.

For troubleshooting the actual mail problem you will need to look at the application that the contact notification command is using to send notifications and refer to it's logs.
