Comments not appearing after upgrade

Hi Team,

Previously when any alert was put in downtime the comments would appear as to why it is in downtime.

However, after a recent upgrade the comments do not appear but it just shows that a certain service or host is in down time for this time period set.

can someone please help with this?

Absolutely. Can you PM me a system profile? You can download a profile from Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile.

I am unable to upload a copy of the profile. The website keeps timing out. Can suggestions?

Login to the XI GUI and go to the Admin > System Settings menu.
In the Acknowledgement Defaults: options, are the Sticky Acknowledgement and Persistent Comment checked?
If the Persistent Comment is checked, it will not be removed from the check if there are any changes to the status of the check.

Check the Persistent Option on that page and the comments entered should persist forever.

The downtime comments did not show up even after updating the settings as suggested.

What was the version of XI that was installed on the server before the upgrade?
Which menu did you go to to view the comments?
If you view the Host or Service in the Core view, do you see the comment there?
