Hi,

I am currently on Nagios XI 5.6.10, Yesterday i received a lot of recovery alerts from NagiosXI, for which i didn't receive any critical alerts.
when i run reports by host on Notifications i see both critical and recovery alerts alerts were sent.

FYI, I have database offloaded to a remote server.
When i check event log i see a lot of these errors,

Thanks for posting the event log. Can you fetch the database log from the offloaded server and post it to the thread ( /var/log/mariadb/mariadb.log or /var/log/mysqld.log )?

Hi,

Thanks for sending over the log. There some InnoDB issues with several tables. Log into the shell on the XI server as root and run the following command and let us know if the issue is resolved.

The database tables look good. We'll have to review the nagios configs and logs to further troubleshoot. What is the exact name of the host or service sending out the recovery alerts?

Thanks for sending the files over.There numerous services to getting check results with the following error.

NRPE: Command 'check_disk' not defined

The check commands are not defined in the nrpe.cfg configuration file on the remote host or the nrpe service was not restarted after making changes.

Can you upload the nrpe.cfg on these systems? If they are using the same commands, the one configuration file will work. Here's a guide that explains the check commands in NRPE and how to pass arguments in the check commands in Nagios XI.

Also, once making any corrections, test the check command from the command-line in Nagios XI to make sure it is working as expected.
