NCPA for SLES 11 SP4 shows service status incorrectly

Hi All,
I installed the latest version NCPA agent for SLES 11(ncpa-2.2.1-1 or ncpa-2.2.1.sle11.x86_64.rpm) on several of our SLES 11 SP4 servers. I was able to start ncpa_listener daemon without any errors, and I was able to use the agent to monitor CPU, memory, swap, and disk space utilization without any problems. The problem I am facing is the agent can't detect the service status on the NCPA client host correctly. For example, when I tried to select SuSEfirewall2_init, SuSEfirewall2_setup, or ntp services to set up monitoring, nagios xi configuration wizard shows the status of these services is "stopped". But I logged into the NCPA client host to check the status of these servers, the status is running:
# service SuSEfirewall2_init status
Checking the status of SuSEfirewall2 running
# service SuSEfirewall2_setup status
Checking the status of SuSEfirewall2 running
# service ntp status
hecking for network time protocol daemon (NTPD): running
I also tried different versions such as ncpa-2.1.5 on multiple servers. They all had the same problem.
Thanks!
